Day 1: Nairobi to maasai mara national reserve

Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or Airport in the morning drive to Masai Mara through The Great African Rift Valley escarpment through Masai Town Narok. You will arrive in time for lunch. Check in at Mara Sopa Lodge and have lunch. Afternoon game drive through the park in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and other members of the Big five plus other animals. Dinner and overnight at mara sopa lodge.

Day 2: Masai mara national game viewing drive

After your breakfast, you will depart for the whole day game drive in the vast Masai Mara National Game Reserve with picnic lunch being served in the wild. The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture.
Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vulture.

Day 3: Maasai mara national resrrve to Nairobi

Early Morning breakfast at your camp. Check out of the camp and park and Drive to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch. Drop off at your respective hotel or Airport around 3pm. ( Optional to our clients with evening Flights) – if you have evening flight you can do more game drive with packed lunch till around 12:00hrs lunch time, After drive to Nairobi you arrive in Nairobi at around 5 to 6 pm drop off at Airport or back to your hotel.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve

Safari proceeds to the Masai Mara Game Reserve Late afternoon game viewing drive at the Mara. The Mara makes the ideal hunting ground for Kenya’s famous ‘big cats’ and hosts her largest population of lions It also offers the best chance of spotting a leopard in the wild. Other predators include cheetah and spotted hyena. The Masai Mara is famous for the large herds of elephant and buffalo that inhabit the plains; also for the pods of hippo that wallow in its muddy river beds. Other animal species include the Masai giraffe, Topi, Hartebeest, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelle, zebra, impala, dik-dik, bushbuck, waterbuck and red duiker. The Reserve also boasts plentiful crocodile, monitor lizard, baboon, vervet; blue and red-tailed monkeys, bush babies, and tree hyrax. There are over 550 resident and migratory species of birds. Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.
