Tour Overview
This 10-day itinerary runs during the 2027 green season (April–May and November), timed around Tanzania's lush green season — fewer vehicles, dramatically lower rates and a landscape transformed by rain, newborn wildlife and migratory birds. The route covers Arusha National Park, Tarangire National Park, Mto wa Mbu and Karatu, with accommodation in well-appointed mid-range properties including Wademac Arusha Inn, Tarangire Safari Lodge and Njia Panda Tented Lodge — a comfortable mid-range balance of quality and price.
Beyond the daily game drives, this specific departure includes an optional sunrise hot-air balloon safari, a visit to Olduvai Gorge, cradle of mankind, a guided canoeing safari, a Mto wa Mbu cultural village walk and local lunch and a Maasai boma cultural visit. Every day is run in a private 4x4 safari Land Cruiser with pop-up roof, alongside an experienced, English-speaking driver-guide for the full trip.
Departures run privately from Kilimanjaro International Airport, and the package covers park fees, VAT and the Tourism Development Levy. Group size is flexible — from a private couple's trip up to a full family or friends group, with an additional vehicle added for larger parties. Children aged 5–11 are welcome sharing with adults. Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will meet your private Driver and transfer to Arusha at your boutique hotel arriving in time for leisure, dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater/ Karatu
After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA) arriving in time for crater tour with picnic lunch down into the crater and later on drive back to Karatu at your tented lodge arriving in time for leisure, dinner and overnight. Today you have optional Masai village visits for cultural experience.

Today you have an optional Olduvai Gorge visits.

Day 10: Serengeti NP to Arusha/ Kilimanjaro International Airport
After breakfast, transfer to Seronera Airstrip for your domestic flight to Arusha departing at 11:00: upon arrival at Arusha Airport at 12:35, you will meet your private Driver and transfer to Arusha for your farewell lunch and later on transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport arriving in time for your flight back home or to your next destination.
