Tour Overview
This 2-day itinerary runs during the 2027 green season (April–May and November), timed around Tanzania's lush green season — fewer vehicles, dramatically lower rates and a landscape transformed by rain, newborn wildlife and migratory birds. The route covers Tarangire NP, Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Ngorongoro Crater, with accommodation in superior, boutique-style properties including Ngorongoro Lion's Paw — upgraded comfort and character at every stop.
Beyond the daily game drives, this specific departure includes a full descent onto the Ngorongoro Crater floor. Every day is run in a private 4x4 safari Land Cruiser with pop-up roof, alongside an experienced, English-speaking driver-guide for the full trip.
Departures run privately from Zanzibar, and the package covers park fees, VAT and the Tourism Development Levy. Group size is flexible — from a private couple's trip up to a full family or friends group, with an additional vehicle added for larger parties. Children aged 5–11 are welcome sharing with adults. Day 1: Zanzibar/ Arusha Airport to Tarangire NP/ Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Upon arrival at Arusha Airport in the morning at 09:15, you will meet your private Driver Guide and drive to Tarangire National Park arriving in time for a game drive in the park with picnic lunch and later on proceeds to Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA) at your luxury lodge arriving in time for leisure, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Ngorongoro Crater/ Arusha Airport/ Zanzibar
After breakfast, drive to the crater floor arriving in time for crater tour with picnic lunch down into the crater and later on drive back to Arusha Airport arriving in time for your domestic flight back to Zanzibar departing at 17:00.
