Tour Overview
This 3-day itinerary runs during the 2027 green season (April–May and November), timed around Tanzania's lush green season — fewer vehicles, dramatically lower rates and a landscape transformed by rain, newborn wildlife and migratory birds. The route covers Lake Manyara NP, Karatu, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire NP, with accommodation in well-appointed mid-range properties including Njia Panda Tented Lodge — a comfortable mid-range balance of quality and price.
Beyond the daily game drives, this specific departure includes a Mto wa Mbu cultural village walk and local lunch, a Maasai boma cultural visit and a full descent onto the Ngorongoro Crater floor. Every day is run in a private 4x4 safari Land Cruiser with pop-up roof, alongside an experienced, English-speaking driver-guide for the full trip.
Departures run privately from Zanzibar, and the package covers park fees, VAT and the Tourism Development Levy. Group size is flexible — from a private couple's trip up to a full family or friends group, with an additional vehicle added for larger parties. Children aged 5–11 are welcome sharing with adults. Day 1: Zanzibar/ Arusha Airport to Lake Manyara NP/ Karatu
Upon arrival at Arusha Airport in the morning at 09:15, you will meet your private Safari Driver Guide and drive to Lake Manyara National Park arriving in time for game drive in the park with picnic lunch and later on proceeds to Karatu at your tented lodge arriving in time for leisure, dinner and overnight. Today you have an optional Mto wa Mbu visits for cultural activities.

Day 2: Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater
After early breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA) arriving in time for crater tour with picnic lunch down into the crater floor and later on drive back to Karatu at your tented lodge arriving in time for leisure, dinner and overnight. Today you have an optional Masai Village (Boma) visits for cultural experience.

Day 3: Karatu to Tarangire NP/ Arusha Airport
After early breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park arriving in time for a game drive in the park with picnic lunch and later on proceed to Arusha Airport arriving in time to for your domestic flight back to Zanzibar departing at 17:00.
